Buys Ballot Laboratorium
The Library of Physics and Astronomy contains books on experimental and theoretical physics, astronomy, history and foundations of physics, meteorology and physical oceanography, biophysics and biology, chemistry, physics and mathematics education.
Collection (books, journals, theses, abstracts and databases) The library subscribes to about 600 scientific journals (60.000 volumes) in the above mentioned areas. Of the 70.000 papers, which the library annually receives through subscriptions, about 60.000 are accessible electronically. The book collection comprises about 35.000 titles on science (including a study collection of 2000 titles for bachelor students) and 25.000 titles on the history of the sciences.
